Professional Surface Prep for Flawless Finishes
At Mill Creek Painters, we take refinishing seriously — and great results start with proper surface preparation.
Our Grande Prairie spray shop features an in-house sandblasting cabinet designed for cabinet doors, furniture, and small metal parts.

What can I bring to the spray shop?
You can drop off cabinet doors and drawers, trim or moulding, millwork, doors, furniture, or small metal items for sandblasting or refinishing. We’ll prep, prime, and spray them in a professional, dust-controlled environment.
How long does a typical project take?
Most spray shop projects are ready in 5–10 business days, depending on the size and finish type.
Smaller items like trim or hardware can often be completed sooner.
Do you offer sandblasting at every location?
Not yet. Sandblasting is available at select locations — currently Grande Prairie and Edmonton.
We’ll be adding this service in Calgary soon.
What types of coatings or finishes do you use?
We use professional-grade lacquers, enamels, and waterborne coatings designed for durability and a smooth, factory-level finish.
Stains and clear coats are available for wood projects.
Can you color match my existing cabinets or furniture?
Yes. Our team can match almost any color from paint chips, photos, or existing samples to ensure a seamless result.
How should I prepare my items before drop-off?
Please remove hardware, hinges, and glass inserts if possible. Label cabinet doors or trim pieces for easy reassembly. We’ll take care of the cleaning, sanding, and finishing.
Do you offer pickup and delivery?
We can arrange pick up for cabinet doors and drawers and smaller items, but we do not move or transport furniture.
Can I get a quote before bringing my project in?
Absolutely. You can upload photos or measurements using our Spray Shop Quote Form or call us to discuss your project details.
What’s the difference between spray finishing and brush painting?
Spray finishes create a smoother, more durable, and more even coating — no brush marks or roller texture. It’s the same method used by manufacturers for factory-finished cabinets.
Are your finishes covered by a warranty?
Yes. All spray shop work follows the same quality standards and warranty as our in-home painting services.
Warranty coverage varies by finish type and material — we’ll outline it in your quote.
